My name is Jeffrey Martin, and I'm a licensed insurance broker with Pacific Advisors in Los Angeles. I'm also a substitute teacher with LAUSD, so I see the classroom side of this career firsthand. I got into this work because I've seen what happens when families go without a plan. When my father passed away, he had no life insurance and a large retirement balance that came to me, and I learned there were better ways he could have structured it for his beneficiaries. I focus on educators because my wife teaches for LAUSD, and I've worked through her pension and retirement decisions alongside her, so I understand what those choices mean for a family.
I studied accountancy at CSUN, so I like working with the numbers and explaining them in plain English. I focus on income protection, life insurance planning, and retirement income strategies for California public employees, and I also work with small business owners and families across Los Angeles.
